School started up again at Syracuse University (SU) this week, which means the summer is officially over for me. It's been a super busy, yet fun summer. But I am definitely glad it is over.
Some great things happened like my brother Tim getting married to a wonderful girl named Leigh. We spent a week in Virginia Beach with family and friends and parties every night. Super fun but super exhausting.
The suckiest part of the summer was saying goodbye to quite a few good friends who moved away from Syracuse at various points throughout. A couple of older friends and a couple newer friends. They've gone on to bigger and better things, which is super awesome, but I will still miss them.
Other than saying goodbyes I spent most of my time working with new graduate students at the Newhouse School at SU and editing a fictional web series that I've been working on for almost two years now, Howard Rights His Wrongs. As a result I wasn't able to get out and camp and hike and play like last summer, but sometimes you just gotta do some work.
So anyways, it's been a very busy, productive, happy, sad, eventful and physically and emotionally exhausting summer. But now it's over and time to move on to other things that will be awesome, probably, hopefully.
